So, having looked at the episode online several times, and trying to Pause it and read upside-down, it appears that the former rhythm guitarist who Toki replaced is named (something like) Magnus Hamerthan. It seemed easiest to see when Paused as Pickles starts to print his name on the bottom of the original contract.
I’m pretty sure the first name is Magnus. The second name gets a little sketchier. I’m hoping there will be a Snakes-n-Barrels type episode to explain his part in Dethklok’s history.
BUT, it also helps explain (at least to me) why Toki always is so weird, different and treated like crap by the rest of them. In this particular episode, for example, while they were all in charge of various financial titles, Toki was only assigned to be in charge of Snacks.
Me and my friend put our heads together and it might have something to do with or even be the leader of the council… same eyebrows similar beard and hair
From what I gathered, The original members (William, nathan, swisgar, pickles) were all in their twenties when dethklok started. I’m assuming that they’re now in their thirties and toki is in his late twenties. The most likely explanation for toki replacing the original rhythm guitarist was that the original died. (Died horribly most likely).
As much as I love Toki, I’d like to learn more about this fellow. Hopefully, no horrible Deth. I mean, come on, his name his Magnus and he looks quite brutal. I say this because my hair is about his length and my facial hair is styled in the same fashion. My opinion is quite biased in this situation.

I think thats a very interesting theroy because the mystery guitarist is wearing Skwisgar style pants and belt buckle, and Skwisgar himself isn’t. So mabey…..the mystery guitarist was the lead guitarist and Skwisgar looked up to him and shit like Toki looks up to Skwisgar, and eventually the mystery guitarist dies and Skwisgar wears his style of clothes and shit in his honor.

A friend pondered if it would play out in some sort of Metallica/Mustaine-type scenario.
I hope they don’t go down the Spinal Tap drummer path with that.
Maybe Offdensen had him done in for whatever reasons? (images of Rockso being electroshocked come to mind)
