Metalopoly?

This is a project I had been thinking about doing for awhile and finally decided to make it for my boyfriend for Christmas.
METALOPOLY
I went out and bought a monopoly game, primer, labels, and card stock. This was the result after plenty of hours at work. The logo on the box was designed in photoshop and then free-handed on the box which was then painted black and varnished several times for the glossy look.
The pieces are replaced with a clock (dethklok), a bat, a skull, a 1″ spike, and I kept the horse (thunderhorse) and the money bag from the original game.

Instead of Community Chest, there is the Band Fund. Cards say things like, “Van broke down, pay $200″, or “Happy dethday, birthdayface. Pay dr Rockso”
The chance cards still exist and say things like “Tour bus left without you, take a walk on the boardwalk.”
The title deed cards were a hassle. Sorry I don’t have a better picture but I cut out tiny pieces of labels and covered over the words “houses” and “hotels.” In Metalopoly, instead of renting, buying, and selling houses or hotels, you Rent, Book, and Play Bars and Arenas.
We’ve been together about a year and a half, and he’s always been a fan of metalocalypse. I don’t even know if he likes the game monopoly, but I think this will be cool to have around.

Pretty sweet! I’m a fan of both board games and of course DK the greatest metal band ever, and I would concur with Crysti. Also your BF oughta be damn thankfull for your wonderful work.
One suggestion: Change the “venues”. Make it more global, as per Dethklok style…take places from the show and put them in. Have fun with it!
