All the Toki and Skwisgaar interaction was hilarious as usual. :p

I was actually somewhat disturbed by all the animal slaughtering!
They finally managed to get me! Haha.
Absolutely no problem seeing humans get mutilated and tortured, but the rain forest, man!
The only other time was that poor, dead, dead dog.

I was sooooo waiting to see a scene where ALL the members get drugged up together. Awesomeness. :D

Oh, I also thought this was interesting. Nathan is 1/4 Native Amazonian (Yaneemango...) and 1/4 British (apparently). People always wondered if he was part Native American or something similar, so now we know. Not a surprise. Ironically there was just a big news story this week about just such a Brazilian tribe.

Skwisgaar dropping the plate of sandwiches and then throwing the one he was eating on the floor. That was priceless physical comedy.

With all that many of us laught at it ecase we know that most everything on the toon is disturbing....

I wasn't criticizing the show at all, nor am I traumatized. :rolleyes: What I was getting at is that they realized there were certain people they were just never going to irk with human violence and decided to finally get us. I just felt it was noteworthy considering there'd only been one other instance of any kind of violence on animals in the series thus far.

And I love being able to just sit down and laugh at things that a lot of other people might find disturbing, or just plain wrong or whatever, because I think it's funny. And it doesn't offend me at all.
In fact, the way that it's even made a few people here feel sorry for fictional animal slaughter makes me love it even more. xD

the animals getting killed in that episode is still pretty tame after seeing the kitty in the microwave ep of ATHF. sides everything dies in Metalocalypse anyways. the only thing that really disturbs me is those damn real life ER shows on TLC. but i guess cause its real blood and crud.

Well, what I do to make the icons and animated gifs from the show is, I take clips from the quicktime movies I have and import them. And Photoshop, as far as I know, is incapable of opening those movie files...I've tried and it says that it's an incorrect format. I can only edit and play with those clips in imageready. So, the answer, as far as I know, is no...I think you need another kind of program.

Hmmm..I've never heard of Virtual dub. :/ Being on a mac kind of limits some of the stuff I can use. A lot of programs people use on windows simply do not work on mac. Most programs need to be made specifically for mac...
I use a program called "Grab" to take screenshots right now. I only use quicktime to play videos and turn them into animated gifs/icons using imageready.

And yeah, I have a neat way of opening FLVs in quicktime and saving them as mov files. :3 Comes in handy.

So maybe it's not so weird? Same goes for Octopickles. Many people have suspected that someone is lurking the internet for ideas...

I noticed the bunny showing up several times in different episodes as well AND I remember telling my boyfriend how it was interesting that Octopickles was drawn by Hallokatzchen before the episode ever appeared.
The bunny suit idea being taken from her wouldn't surprise me.
I have often thought of asking the creators if they ever "borrow" ideas from the internet/fans, especially after seeing the four women lead by Succoboso (since a lot of fans create a female counterpart to Dethklok).
