How come you chose to use C standard to play all your songs? (Actually most with the expection of the Coffee jingle). I mean why not go one step lower and use cheat B standard, like Five Finger Deth punch. Or even use a 7 string (that would be so metall). Please get back to me, I really wanted to know your thoughts on this.

Brendon thanks so much for dethklok, the music rules and there is finally a show for metal heads. As a fellow lover and player of the guitar I purchased both tab books (along with both cd’s dvd’s and I’ve seen you with chimaria and also with mastodon) so I could learn many of the songs I love so much, and I have learned so much and have become a much better guitarist because of them, regardless of a lot of the solos being a bit over my head. I’ve been playing for years and music is my passion, I’m not an amazing guitarist but my music is good none the less, despite having old and shitty equipment, and its even worse when I try and play your stuff cause of the drop C, but whatever its gets me through I guess but its a struggle. I would get nicer equipment but getting a job right now just isn’t happening, any way sorry about that it just kinda sucks. My dream would be to get my band off the ground, but its not happening right now but I’m working on it. I love you man and thanks

I go running around Antenna Hill here which is the highest point on the base everyday and every time I go running I put on the Dethklok albums. While I’m running whenever I get to 2:30 on the song "Bloodlines" I always sprint out the rest of the song… It just gets me pumped ya know? I don’t know whether or not this will be responded to or if it will even be glanced at, but I’ve been looking for tabs all over the internet and everywhere I’ve gone, they’ve been removed. I understand that you exorcised your rights to keep them off of free sites. But I’d like to learn to play some of the stuff the band plays, it’s hard to resist. I tried to look on your site and I didn’t manage to find anything. If I could buy a book if they’re available, I would but I haven’t seen them in the stores I visit. If it would be possible to send me an order form or something if books exist, that would be much appreciated. Keep up the good music.

Dethklok is totally brutal. More cd’s and episodes cant come out fast enough. Concerts dont come close enough. I need more brutality. And that chick that decked out her ride in Dethklok decals is totally brutal and hot!

Dear Metalocolypse,
I have a cartoon episode idea, Instead of "Type O Negative", call them "HIV Positive" and put them in a zany waky story with Dethklok, like a back up band or something. I got it from the Snakes & Barrels episode (I’ll assume that was suppose to be "Guns & Roses"). Maybe it could be Nathens old band coming back to haunt him or the other way around?

First of all im a totally dethklok fan, toki and skwiz are my fav, and i got the new dethalbum II right on the release date, ( was soo excited) and btw ther new stuff is epic to, but there trying to hard now, they just gotta lay back like before , there lyrics are turning into the same as other bands, and thats not the way it should be .
but the main point is i regesterd and you or who ever thought i was a spam bot, NO WAY

I am a big fan of Dethklok, and I know a lot of people that are dying to see them touring around MA or NH area. We didn’t realize that there were concerts available until recently but all the concert dates I’ve seen for 2009 are out of our range. I was wondering if you there was any way of finding out if they may be coming to MA or NH in 2010 or if not there is a place we can look up the concert dates. Thank you!

my former bf and i used to live together… we were very close and when not laughing our asses off … he had an unusual talent! to be able to do the voices of the band we love ( deathklok ) and quote untill the cows came home. as a fond memory i had with him… after we broke up i wasnt able to watch the show listen to the music without crying. when this little blurb ran in my head " holy fuck nuts… im sentimental over…deathklok… oh good god i need fucking help" we are great friends again and nothing is more soothin to the soul then " i knows tokis … i knows"

Dethklok rules! My wife and I love Dethklok! Finally a great metal band without all the bullshit. If you are anywhere near our house you will hear at least 10 Dethklok songs, usually in a row. Great lyrics, bass, guitar and a kick ass drum beat have been missing in a metal band for so long, it’s great to finally hear all of the elements that make a for great metal bnad come together. Dethklok rocks!

So for the first CD, there were about 5000 extra songs from the TV show, and they were released on the better edition CD.
For the 2nd CD, theres still bonus tracks, I think Dethrace, Dethwedding, and the one with the girls attacking nathan or whatever are the best songs and I dont know why their not on the album, but the worst part is the deluxe edition doesnt have any bonus songs! Where can I get these full songs?

I do not understand why the touring band, as talented as they are, do not attempt to portray the characters likeness. These characters, even though they are animated, created the fan base with their appearance as well. For a touring band it should be high on the list to recreate the elements that make Dethklok appealing to the fans who support it. As a fan of black metal the music alone does not make THIS band what the fans expect. Where is the harm in at least dressing the part? Costumes are not only for Halloween…just ask King Diamond.
