anybody know what effects skwisgaar or toki uses? pedals, i mean.
I think they both use Dunlop wah and distortion pedals. Skwisgaar mentions his gear in the Finger Wizard Master Class special feature on Season 1 DVD.
Pickles should use Evans Drums Zildjian cymbals & drumsticks & DW Drum thrones for his drum equipment & you guys should use Ernie Ball strings, cords, pick, & strap locks & use some Mackie gear like speakers & smoke machines & get a keyboardist for the band & use Roland keyboards & get some amplified guitar straps & pick AB Pick up boosters to go with your EMG pickups & get some EMG Pickguards too & Coffin Case & auto tuning guitars & get some more distortion like from Boss, Digitech, & Korg & also use Live Wire & get some brand named mics like Audix mics you know all the stuff that makes metal sound good this could be some new stuff that you’ll use
in your 3rd season of Metalocalypse you could still use the equipment that you use now but just add some new stuff to go with it espicially on the end credits so start thinking about that for your 3rd season.
are you kidding me? boss, digitech and korg? mackie gear? are you a guitar center rep. how about asking for pro level gear. all the stuff on the credits is better made and sounding than anything you listed.
Even though I play a gibson thru the 5150 and xxx cab, It really doesnt matter what kind of guitar you play… as long as you can play the guitar. Grow up.

Robert – “Skisgaar” uses Emg 81/85, Brendon Small used to use them put im pretty sure he now uses Emg 81/89, and the only difference between the 85 and the 89 is that the 89 has a coil tap. I highly recommend the emg 81/85. i have never used the 89. Also, the blackouts are nice. and all these pickups i mentioned are active pickups i believe. so you will have to change the battery once or twice a year (depending on how much you plug it in to the amp) but that is not really a big deal.
Well considering they are the most brutal metal band in the world, i would assume…. they know what the fuck they are doing!! Screw fancy equipment, if your the fastest guitarist alive, you could play an old granpas guitar and still shredd.
does anyone know what settings brendon small uses on his floor pod for rythym?leads?
for his floor pod settings he just uses the master of puppets setting feature which is gain-10, bass-10, mid-0,
Was just at the Dethklok concert in Dallas on the 11th and it looks like Brendon either got a new Explorer or painted his original. Sunburst paint job never looked so BRUTAL!

In the end of the new season, it said that Dethklok now uses Marshall amps. I was wondering what kind of Marshall amps they use?
They were using Marshall and Rivera amp setups from what I saw in the garbled mess that were my attempts at photos.
According to the Fatherklok episode, Dethklok uses the JCM 800 heads and 1960 speaker cabs.
